Tickers, assemble: dozens of rare/one-off beers will be on offer this weekend as one of London’s finest beer festivals returns this Easter weekend. Craft100, which takes place at the Craft Beer Co’s Clapham pub, features (wait for it) 100 different beers; 80 cask ales - most of them racked in the pub’s sizeable back garden - and 20 keg beers.

There’ll be a London bar, featuring the likes of The KernelBrixton, By The Horns and Beavertown. Some of the specials have to be tasted to be believed: Beavertown have provided a version of Gamma Ray spiked with lime, Partizan have brewed a Raspberry Ripple Porter and Magic Rock have sent a keg of their imperial brown stout, Bearded Lady, aged in Grand Marnier barrels.

That’s not all. Cantillon’s superb dry-hopped Lambic Iris, A Kernel Saison re-fermented with honey and a smoked imperial porter from Five Points will also be available. The beer list is here; there really is something for everyone. It’s claim to be the city’s biggest pub-based beer festival is hard to deny.

The event, which is the brainchild of cask-whisperer and all-round good egg, Tom Cadden, first took place last April. Entrance is free; it kicks off on Thursday and runs until Sunday. Food will be provided by the Liberty Cheesesteak Company.
