Bricklayer’s Arms

Bricklayer’s Arms

Cosy is the adjective that springs most readily to mind when thoughts turn to the Bricklayer’s Arms. Tucked (it’s a cliché, but on this occasion justified) down a side street off Lower Richmond Road, The Brick prides itself on its beer – which includes not only high-quality cask (guests could include Twickenham or By The Horns while Sambrook’s is always available) but also keg (Meantime) and bottles (Redchurch, among others). This is a real community pub: it boasts a cricket team, regular beer festivals and a nine-pin skittles table. Once you get settled in, you’ll find it hard to leave.
