Clapton Hart

Clapton Hart

If pubs could choose where they were situated, few would pick to be next to a fairly unlovely roundabout in Clapton. This is a part of town, after all, most famous for having been dumped by a football club in favour of Leyton. Nonetheless, this is a thoroughly decent pub, a once-dodgy roadhouse fancied up to appeal to the area’s newer, more bourgeois residents. The cask ale is where most of the exciting action is: expect to see the likes of Moor, Ilkley and Dark Star.
