Jerusalem Tavern

Jerusalem Tavern

The Jerusalem Tavern is so quirky you think it must have been here for yonks, but there’s only been a pub on this site since the late 1990s. No matter: the beer all comes from Suffolk proto-craft brewery St Peter’s, who have been making tasty, sometimes quirky beer since the boys at BrewDog were in short trousers. The beer is served from wooden casks behind the bar (another nod to an imagined past) and space is in short supply at this cramped, idiosyncratic little pub. Closed at the weekend.
