The Electric Diner

The winds of boozy change are blowing down Portobello Road. Not only does this most over-exposed of West London thoroughfares now have its own distillery (at the Portobello Star), it also has a restaurant boasting a fine selection of craft beer. No cask options, alas, and there are some grimly familiar names amongst the keg beers, but the selection of bottles has been well chosen. Look out for Boon Gueuze, Nogne O Saison and Augustiner Helles. Chicago restaurateur Brendan Sodikoff was involved in designing the menu here and the bottled beer choices live up to his high standards.
