Bull, The

If you go to London Brewing’s source, you’re going to need a drink. That’s because The Bull in Highgate – where London Brewing’s beers are made – sits on top of a hill: it can be thirsty work hiking all the way up from Highgate Station. Luckily, the beer itself does the job: Nervous Energy American Pale Ale, for example, has all the thirst-quenching bitterness you could require. The pub itself serves other beers, too – such as the near ubiquitous Brooklyn Lager and Meantime on keg – and, a sign on the wall proudly boasts, there’s a knitting group every Tuesday at 7pm. What are you waiting for?
