The East Dulwich Tavern

The EDT is something of an institution in south-east London’s very own nappy valley. For those entering Lordship Lane from the north, it’s the first you see of this chi-chi little boulevard, where the prevalence of baby-clothes shops and fancy knick-knack emporiums lets you know exactly who runs the place. The EDT is pretty spick-and-span, too: the tiled floor on your right as you enter the bar is not to be missed. The beer has improved hugely of late (thanks, Antic) and you might expect to run into something brewed by Dark Star, Moor, Magic Rock, Whitstable or Adnams.
